Hello.

So here I am sitting in my bed typing away as Friends is playing on my TV, I'm having a late night snack of chocolate cake and my dog is keeping my toes warm with her tummy. And then my dear friend Maddie suggests that I start a blog. So, I decide to just go for it and have fun. She created this entire lovely canvas that is handed over to me to do whatever I wish with.
To introduce myself I'm Courtney and I have hopes and dreams of going into fashion, my inspiration for which is Edie Sedgwick, Marilyn Monroe, Twiggy and Audrey Hepburn. All of these lovely ladies inspire me with their strong individuality and confidence.
My definition of a fun day would be sitting in bed sketching Joseph Gordon-Levitt and reading fashion magazines. I am 16 years old and am going to be a junior in high school this coming fall. I keep journals that I write in when I'm happy and lovey dovey and then later proceed to tearing them to shreds when something goes wrong.
I wouldn't consider myself to be an athlete, but I am a varsity swimmer at my school, so other people do refer to me as one.
I just think of myself as a typical high school girl learning what life means and living it in her own way. Goodnight all.
