Everyone is Everyone.

I have been overloaded since I got back to school. I just finished my 2181 word essay on different age groups and their struggles with depression. Pheww! I feel like I wrote a novel. I am so far behind on reading all of your blogs, and I am terribly sorry. Tomorrow is Friday, so I will begin to have time to go through each and every post!

Truth Be Told.

Photo of Avril Lavigne for Nylon Magazine.

I'm in a bit of shlump..well, if that was a word, I would be in it. Contrary to my previous few posts, I am just not feeling as excited as I would have hoped. This could be because of the writing that I have worked consistently with all weekend, on depression. I spent my day reading stories on toddlers suffering through depression, and doctors not willing to give them the proper medication, and school counselors not...well, counseling these children how they should. But, I have to continue on for another week with this because it is a school research paper. Almost there!

Tonight I am going to read 3 different fashion magazines, and eat some chocolate. Then I will put on a lovely mud mask for my face! I just love the feeling of the paste growing stiffer and stiffer on my face and then finally rinsing it off and revealing smooth skin. Could a girl ask for anything better in life?

Mass Chaos

This week has been extremely chaotic for me. I've been taking PSAT prep courses which consists of 3 hours of testing. I took my first IB blue book exam in 1st hour today, I hope the teacher doesn't mind my purple pen that I use as a good luck charm. I have had math homework, tests and projects. Reading a novel about a complete dystopian only to take tests on it the following afternoon. Article write ups, meteorology packets, sociological experiments and graphing calculators.
All I can say is, thank God it's the weekend. And that I now have time to take a nap or two and eat a Hershey's bar.

Back In The Routine.

First week back at school and I'm very excited about this year. I have friends in all my classes and all my teachers seem to be great! My messenger bag straps are already strained from the 20lb math book I was given the first day and right now I am procrastinating doing a short history reading and write up. Waking up at 6AM is brutal, but worth it to see everyone whom I missed all of summer! I've already made new friends too! How's everyone's week been?

Last Day.

So, it's the last day before I go back to school and I just got home from a morning coffee trip with some friends. Which got me to thinking about what kind of a person I will be this upcoming year. And if I will be making tons of new friends, or if my previous bonds will tighten or fall apart. I have decided to not let myself lose any friends, but I will let myself gain new ones. I set goals for myself to maintain a good GPA, study things I am interested in, stay positive and make the most out of everything. I am going to be happy.

And Then It Began..

Some memories of mine from the past year.

Summer is almost over, but there is still plenty of time to have a memorable last few days, or even if you are back in school, to make the most of the warm afternoons. I plan on going shopping a few more times with people who I haven't seen nearly enough of this summer. And I'm also going to have a few last sleepovers, go to some parties and go see movies. This fall I want to make school more of an important focus for me. I plan to dress better, make new friends, keep in close touch with current ones, raise my GPA and class rank, and learn things I am interested in.
